Teaching through inquiry is a great way for students to master the knowledge they must learn while developing critical thinking and collaboration skills. And it's not just for the sciences! Inquiry in history, and even language arts, allows for natural exploration of multiple perspectives, especially through primary artifacts, and evaluating the sources. Let's go beyond DBQs to experience inquiry activities and leave with resources you can use in your classroom. Another benefit comes from the natural inclusion of literacy strategies as students dig into learning and communicate their findings. This session is inspired my work with the UCBerkeley History-Social Science Project.  ***.75 credits toward the 2019-2020 GT update will be awarded***
